Charles Simoneau from Guy has been proclaimed as Alberta Canola Producers director in Region 3, and Wayne Schneider from Leduc has been acclaimed in Region 6. But vacant director spots in Regions 9 and 12 failed to generate nominations so elections will be held at the AGM in January.
Two Alberta Wheat directors were also acclaimed in Region 3: Jason Craig from Delburne and Jason Lenz from Bentley. Former chair Dave Bishop from Barons was acclaimed as director-at-large, with an election to be held in Region 2 on Nov. 16.
Alberta Barley also had three directors acclaimed: Scott Jespersen from Spruce Grove in Region 5, Brent Konstapel from Spirit River in Region 6, and Connie Matson of Wetaskiwin as director-at-large.
